BK's Gold Coast Fishing Charters - friendly, professional, Gold Coast fishing charters. First time or experienced anglers, sightseers, mums, dads, kids, grandparents or the girls day out, all are welcome. Our targets and regular captures include Marlin/tag and release, Sail Fish/tag and release, Mahi Mahi/Dolphin Fish, Mackerel (School, Spotted, Spanish and Mack Tuna), Cobia/Black Kingfish, Tailor, Trevally, Teraglin Jew, Shark and Blue Spot Reef Flathead.

INCLUSIONS on all trips are Penn and Shimano rods and reels, tackle, bait, sunscreen, soft drinks, iced water, tea, coffee, biscuits, printed fish recipes, and assistance from your skipper and deckhand if required. Your legal captures can be kept, shared or released by you, your fish are gutted, iced down and bagged for you. JUST BRING YOUR CAMERA. First time and experienced anglers, sightseers, mum, dad, kids, grandparents or the girls' day out, all are extremely welcome and gladly assisted by your owner/skipper and deckhand until all attain good ocean, reef and game fishing skills in a fun, team atmosphere.

THE BOAT for your adventure is a twin hulled, wide-bodied, stable, Cougar Catamaran that is powered by 2 quiet, smokeless, powerful, four stroke motors. We provide as much fishing time for you in our fast boat as possible, it's only 15 minutes boat driving time to our first Pacific Ocean reef, a proven hot spot where our guests regularly catch spanish, spotted and school mackerel, cobia, tuna, shark, tailor and large blue spotted reef flathead. Of particular note, especially for the ladies, the toilet is electric flushing, extremely clean and highly sanitized. It is complemented with an electric fresh water tap with basin, liquid soap, mirror and disinfectant deodorizers.

TECHNIQUES include simultaneous, float and weighted multi level whole pilchard baiting, live baiting, strip baiting/fillets of freshly caught legal fish and secondary - lure spinning and trolling if it is proving to be more productive.
We supply quality Penn rods and reels, overhead and spinning, left handed outfits are available. No stretch, feel every bite, super braid Berkley "Whiplash" fishing line is also supplied.

BOARDING TIMES & LOCATION We depart from the Spit Pontoon, Muriel Henchman Drive, Main Beach, Gold Coast, QLD, 4217. Free parking is within 100 metres. Trip times are 6am-11am and 11.15am-4.15pm.

Per person - $90 for our 5 hour ocean reef and game fishing adventure.
Whole boat charters - $1020 for your group, maximum of 12 guests = $85ea.

Fish’n’Fun Charters offers a friendly personal service to all types of angler, from the beginner through to experienced. Head offshore aboard our fast new Stebercraft vessel to the Gold Coast's best fishing locations. We target snapper, teraglin, pearl perch, tusk fish, marlin, dolphin fish and tuna.

INCLUSIONS: All bait and fishing tackle is included, your fish are cleaned and bagged for you to take home. Your skipper will advise you on the best way to cook your fish. On board there are soft drinks, plenty of fresh water and a snack for morning tea. You are welcome to bring along your own alcoholic beverages if you wish.

THE BOAT for your fishing trip is a new, fast 30 ft Stebercraft. We take up to eight people per trip so there is no overcrowding. On most half day fishing trips travel time is kept to a minimum and we head to one of the closer offshore reefs, targeting Tuna, Teraglin, Snapper and Mackerel. Travel time is generally about twenty minutes. Depending on the season, we troll lures on the way to the fishing grounds; strikes from Wahoo and Spanish mackerel are not unusual. It's quite common to see dolphins swimming alongside the boat and during the whale season, groups of Humpback Whales are often seen breaching.
The vessel is equipped with modern G.P.S. and Fishfinding technology and there is a private toilet on board.

TECHNIQUES Vary, depending on the season and the current fishing profiles. Generally everyone has their own rod and reel for working the reef and at times we use floating and casting bait techniques as well as live baiting.

LOCATION AND BOARDING TIMES Trips depart from Mariners Cove Mariner, D arm - Berth 82, situated in Main Beach, Gold Coast. Mariners Cove Mariner is located on Seaworld Drive, Main Beach. From the car park find the walkway leading to a promenade on the right hand side. Walk to the end of the promenade where there is a ramp which leads down to the boats. Your boat 'SWEET LIPS' is the sixth boat along the walkway. The Half Day Departure time is 6 am and we return about 11 am. The Full Day departure time is 6am and we return at 3pm. A safety briefing is given before departure so we ask people to be at the boat 15 minutes prior to departure.

Gold Coast Fishing Charters can take you and your mates deep sea and reef fishing out off the Gold Coast Seaway.

Located between The Spit and South Stradbroke Island, the Seaway provides convenient access from the Broadwater to offshore reefs where Snapper, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Pearl Perch, Mackerel, Kingfish and Parrotfish can be caught.

INCLUSIONS: Onboard Fat Hooker you will fish with the best quality fishing gear available including Shimano Stella, Tiagra, TLD, Tyrnos and Trinidad rigs. Gold Coast Fishing Charters provide the bait, tackle and fishing accessories such as jigs and fishing gloves. Tea, Coffee and Softdrinks is included. Half Day Charters include snacks/morning tea. Full Day Charters include lunch. Don't forget to bring your esky to take your catch home with you!

THE BOAT: Fat Hooker is our 41 foot Stebercraft charter fishing vessel that is geared for your total comfort and enjoyment. Whether your Fat Hooker sport fishing adventure is for a special occasion (We specialize in Bucks, Hens or birthday parties and also corporate groups) or purely to take home a big catch, you will have a fantastic day in comfort and luxury! Featuring a private toilet, large covered deck with seating, plenty of room, CD player and the latest in fish finding and navigation technologies, Fat Hooker has the capacity to carry up to 18 passengers.

TECHNIQUES: In addition to using dead baits, Gold Coast Fishing Charters specialise in deep water jigging so you are guaranteed a great workout with the deep water brutes of Gold Coast reef. We'll show you a variety of game fishing techniques such as live baiting, switch baiting and lures.

TECHNIQUES include trolling on the way out to your fishing grounds, where you can often get on to some great fish and maybe even tag a Marlin. All top enquipment, rods and reels.... (no hand lines here), live baiting, lures, overheads and pro tackle ensure the best day possible for your enjoyment.

LOCATION: All charters depart from D Arm, Mariners Cove Marina, Seaworld Dve at Main Beach (near Fishermans Wharf and Hogs Breath Cafe)- Gold Coast.
From the carpark - head to the right hand side of the complex where you will find a long jetty. Follow out to the end where we will meet you 10 minutes prior to departure in front of the helicopter pad.
