BK's Gold Coast Fishing Charters - friendly, professional, Gold Coast fishing charters. First time or experienced anglers, sightseers, mums, dads, kids, grandparents or the girls day out, all are welcome. Our targets and regular captures include Marlin/tag and release, Sail Fish/tag and release, Mahi Mahi/Dolphin Fish, Mackerel (School, Spotted, Spanish and Mack Tuna), Cobia/Black Kingfish, Tailor, Trevally, Teraglin Jew, Shark and Blue Spot Reef Flathead.

INCLUSIONS on all trips are quality left or right handed Penn rods and reels, tackle, bait, sunscreen, soft drinks, iced water, tea, coffee, biscuits, printed fish recipes, assistance from your skipper and deckhand if required and free transits for the 6:00am trip from CBD coastal resorts. Your legal captures can be kept, shared or released by you, your fish are gutted, iced down and bagged for you. JUST BRING YOUR CAMERA. First time and experienced anglers, sightseers, mum, dad, kids, grandparents or the girls' day out, all are extremely welcome and gladly assisted by your owner/skipper and deckhand until all attain good ocean, reef and game fishing skills in a fun, team atmosphere.

THE BOAT for your adventure is a twin hulled, wide-bodied, stable, Cougar Catamaran that is powered by 2 quiet, smokeless, powerful, four stroke motors. We provide as much fishing time for you in our fast boat as possible, it's only 15 minutes boat driving time to our first Pacific Ocean reef, a proven hot spot where our guests regularly catch spanish, spotted and school mackerel, cobia, tuna, shark, tailor and large blue spotted reef flathead. Of particular note, especially for the ladies, the toilet is electric flushing, extremely clean and highly sanitized. It is complemented with an electric fresh water tap with basin, liquid soap, mirror and disinfectant deodorizers.

TECHNIQUES include simultaneous, float and weighted multi level whole pilchard baiting, live baiting, strip baiting/fillets of freshly caught legal fish and secondary - lure spinning and trolling if it is proving to be more productive.
We supply quality Penn rods and reels, overhead and spinning, left handed outfits are available. No stretch, feel every bite, super braid Berkley "Whiplash" fishing line is also supplied.

BOARDING TIMES & LOCATION are 6:00am, 11:00am and 4:30pm at 328 Marine Parade Labrador at the Labrador Harley Park Pontoon, just 7 kilometers north of Surfers Paradise.

PRICES:
Per person - $90 for our 5 hour ocean reef and game fishing adventure.
Whole boat charters - $1020 for your group, maximum of 12 guests = $85ea.
SPECIAL - $960 for your group on any Non weekend days & non public holidays, maximum of 12 guests = $80ea.

Discovery Fishing Charters provide great fishing action for the whole family, Skipper Tim has over ten years experience fishing the Gold Coast.

INCLUSIONS All bait, lures, and sunscreen provided. You choose from a variety of rods and reels. We provide light refreshments and morning tea. We will accommodate most individual requests so ask us about customising your day. Children 5 years old and younger fish for free.

THE BOAT M.V. DISCOVERY is a perfectly sized 30ft Shark Cat. Discovery charters has one of the best fishing platforms for a fishing charter on the Gold Coast. It powered by two 250HP MERCURY outboards ensuring fast and secure travel to and from fishing areas.

TECHNIQUES include dead and live baiting, light and heavy tackle, spin rods, live bait, lures, soft plastics. Our good fish captures often appear on Channel 9 Gold Coast News, you could see your catch on TV!!!

DEPARTURE TIMES & LOCATION are 6:00am – 11am, 11:15am – 4.15pm at 328 Marine Parade Labrador at the Labrador Harley Park Pontoon, opposite The Grand Hotel. There are plenty of parking spots, please read the signs to make sure you park in an appropriate area.

THE BOATS: Wahoo Charters offer 3 large offshore purpose built vessels ranging from 41' to 60' for those large groups. Whether you are a first timer or pro fisher, our large stable boats will ensure comfortability shade and stability to make your day out an enjoyable one!
From individuals to large corporate groups, team building, weddings, bucks, hens, Christmas and other party groups. Our large boats will take you offshore for half or full day charters where we fish for species such as Snapper, Pearl Perch, Yellow tail Kngfish, Cobia, Amberjack, Tuna, Dolphin Fish (also known as Mahi Mahi) and our own signature 'Wahoo'.

TECHNIQUES include trolling on the way out to your fishing grounds, where you can often get on to some great fish and maybe even tag a Marlin. All top enquipment, rods and reels.... (no hand lines here), live baiting, lures, overheads and pro tackle ensure the best day possible for your enjoyment.

LOCATION: All charters depart from D Arm, Mariners Cove Marina, Seaworld Dve at Main Beach (near Fishermans Wharf and Hogs Breath Cafe)- Gold Coast.
From the carpark - head to the right hand side of the complex where you will find a long jetty. Follow out to the end where we will meet you 10 minutes prior to departure in front of the helicopter pad.
